Police hope tattoos can identify pedestrian hospitalized after Noland Road wreck
Independence police are distributing photos of a hospitalized man’s tattoos in an effort to identify him after he was struck by a vehicle Sunday night.
The man was a pedestrian injured in a crash shortly after 7 p.m. Sunday near Noland Road and 42nd Terrace, according to police.
He is being treated at a hospital, and police have not been able to identify him using fingerprints. Police described the man as being white, in his late 30s or early 40s, about 6 feet tall and 175 pounds with black receding hair and a long black goatee. The man was wearing dark clothes when he was injured.
On Monday, police distributed photos of the man’s tattoos. Police asked anyone who recognized the man to call 816-325-7777.
