Search for woman reported in Blue River hampered by weather

Emergency rescue crews searched unsuccessfully Wednesday night for a woman who may have been swept away in the Blue River near U.S. 71 and 87th Street. A man reported to police he thought he saw a woman enter or fall into the water.

Crews were hampered by darkness and weather.
