MoDOT plans to close westbound I-670 Saturday for bridge work
Continued work on Grand Boulevard bridge will shut down the westbound lanes of Interstate 670 for about nine hours Saturday.
Missouri Department of Transportation crews will close the westbound lanes of I-670 between Interstate 70/U.S. 71 and southbound Interstate 35 on the south side of the downtown loop from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday for sign truss installation as part of the bridge replacement project.
In addition, the 13th Street ramp from westbound I-670 will also close from 6 a.m. Saturday through 6 a.m. Wednesday for additional guard rail installation and erosion control.
Traffic can bypass the interstate closure using westbound I-70/I-35 around the north side of the downtown loop.
