Man’s body found in Independence

Independence police are investigating the discovery a man’s body Sunday morning.

The body was found in the area of U.S. 24 and Grand Avenue.

Police said there were no obvious signs of foul play, and it will be up to the medical examiner to determine a cause of death. Police said they expect more information to be available Monday.
