Southbound I-435 reopens near Gregory Boulevard in Kansas City after crash

Southbound Interstate 435 near Gregory Boulevard reopened Thursday following a collision involving a tractor-trailer and Sports Utility Vehicle.

Serious injuries were reported in the crash that happened about 4 a.m. Thursday, according to media reports.

The highway reopened about 6:30 a.m.

Further details were not available from police.
