The Kansas City area will likely get more snow and just in time for Tuesday’s morning commute.

The National Weather Service in Pleasant Hill says a quick-hitting storm could bring more snow during peak travel times. A winter weather advisory will be in effect from 5 a.m. to noon.

The storm is generally expected to drop between 1 and 2 inches, but 3 inches are possible in areas of heaviest activity.
