Munday on Monday: Email outage at the office

“We’re isolated!” came the cry

As if (amid the strife)

Apocalyptic cable shows

Abruptly came to life.

Then elders in their wisdom spoke:

“No need to misconstrue it;

Just call the folks you need to reach,

It’s how we used to do it.”

The rest of us, befuddled, sat

As things turned ever bleak;

“But what on earth” (we asked) “would be

This talk of which you speak?”
