Munday on Monday: Equinox poem, Night and Day

The equinox is near, which means

That day and night are matched;

A couple minutes less each day

Of daylight are dispatched.

These daylight minutes being lost —

I wonder where they crouch?

Perhaps they rolled beneath the fridge

Or fell behind the couch?

So issue now an A.P.B.!

We’re clearly being shorted —

If precious daylight’s being lost

That ought to be reported.
