Snowy conditions close COVID testing sites around Kansas City

Snowy conditions in Kansas City have closed a number of government-run COVID-19 testing sites on Wednesday, Feb. 2. Some sites are planning to close on Thursday, Feb. 3 as well. We’ll continue to update this story as we learn more.

If your local testing site is closed, you can still request up to four at-home COVID-19 tests from the federal government here.

Missouri testing site closures

  • COVID-19 testing in the Kauffman Stadium parking lot is canceled for Feb 2 and 3 due to the weather.

  • Testing in the Heavy Construction Laborers parking lot at 7820 Prospect is cancelled on Thursday, Feb. 3. At this time, the site still plans to be open on Friday, Feb. 4.

  • Testing at The Armory, located at 100 S. 20th Street in Kansas City, Kansas, is cancelled on Wednesday, Feb. 2.

  • Vibrant Health’s testing site at Miracle Temple Church in Kansas City, Kansas is closed on Wednesday, Feb. 2.

  • Testing at Johnson County Community College in Overland Park is cancelled on Wednesday, Feb. 2.

  • Testing at Shawnee Mission Theatre, located at 7710 Renner Rd, is cancelled on Wednesday, Feb. 2.

  • Testing at Church of the Resurrection in Leawood is cancelled on Wednesday, Feb. 2.

  • Testing at Roeland Park Community Center in Roeland Park is cancelled on Wednesday, Feb. 2.
