This Overland Park company is offering free same-day PCR tests on Tuesday, Jan. 4
As COVID-19 cases surge around Kansas City and home tests and appointments at local testing facilities are hard to find, you can get a highly accurate PCR test for free on Tuesday, Jan. 4 in Overland Park.
MyHomeLabs, a medical supply company connected to 4M Healthcare, is offering PCR tests with one-day results for free on Jan. 4 only. On Jan. 5 and 6, the tests will be $100 a piece.

What are these tests?
MyHomeLabs is offering PCR tests with same-day results.
When can you get them?
You can get the tests on Tuesday Jan. 4 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the company’s drive-up location in Overland Park at 15112 Glenwood. You’ll have to call 1-800-484-2712 ahead of time to let them know you’re there.
You can also purchase the tests online here.
Drive-up tests will be available at the same location from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday Jan. 5 and Thursday Jan. 6.
How much do the tests cost?
On Tuesday, Jan. 4 only, the tests will be free.
On Jan. 5 and Jan. 6, the tests will cost $100.
There’s no limit to how many tests you can purchase.
Anything else to know?
There are other free testing options around Kansas City, but the demand is high. Our team has heard from readers that scheduling a free PCR appointment online through one of Kansas City’s sites run by a company called Curative has been pretty effective.
Call your local pharmacy before visiting to purchase a home test. Or, you can request one be sent to you for free from the state of Missouri.
