Nearly 850 people in Kansas have tested positive for the new coronavirus after about 100 more infections were reported Monday.
That includes more than 210 cases in Johnson County and 180 in Wyandotte County, state officials said.
Of the 845 cases, 25 people have died and 198 have been hospitalized. With more than 8,200 negative tests, residents were testing positive at a rate of about 9%, according to data from the Kansas Department of Health and Environment.

Of the positive cases, more than 630 people were tested at private labs while nearly 215 were tested by Kansas officials.
