Seventeen more cities get Sprint’s fastest service, Spark
Sprint started its fastest service, called Spark, in 17 additional cities Tuesday, bringing its total coverage to 46 markets.
The company said it was on track to meet its plan to have Sprint Spark covering 100 million people by year’s end.
The markets just added include Cleveland, Denver, Minneapolis-St. Paul and Seattle.
Kansas City got Sprint Spark, described as “an enhanced LTE service delivering peak wireless speeds of 50-60 Mbps,” early this year.
Sprint also said it offered 38 devices equipped to use Spark, including top-line smartphones and tablets.
