Kansas City-based mobile marketing company Moblico raises $900,000
Moblico, a Kansas City-based mobile marketing company, said it raised $900,000 in venture capital in the first quarter. The investors include the Missouri Technology Corp. and an unidentified area investor.
Moblico said it intends to use the capital “to continue to raise our growth into new markets and pursue new business opportunities.”
This is the second investment in the company by both the private investor and Missouri Technology, which is governed by a group selected by Missouri’s governor and legislative leaders.
Moblico was started in 2010 by Pierre Barbeau and Jim Barnes. The company said it serves about 25,000 companies.
