Sprint has cut a deal to connect its customers with 35 airport Wi-Fi hotspots through Boingo Wireless.

The companies did not disclose the terms of the deal Thursday, but Sprint customers will pay nothing for the added Wi-Fi connections. The Boingo Wi-Fi time also will not count against Sprint customers’ data plan allowances.

The list of 35 airports does not include Kansas City International Airport.

Sprint said customers’ phones will connect automatically to the Boingo Wi-Fi hotspots when they’re present.

“By enabling customers to move more smoothly between trusted Wi-Fi and cellular, our customers will have a better mobile experience in more locations, all while lowering their cost of data usage,” Sprint technology chief Stephen Bye said in a post related to the Boingo deal.

Sprint recently announced it would be providing a Wi-Fi calling software upgrade to iPhone customers on its network.
