LaunchKC seeks applicants for $50,000 grants
LaunchKC is taking applications for its $50,000 grants to each of 10 startup businesses that locate here.
The grants will be awarded on Sept. 18 during Techweek Kansas City. The judging panel will consist of business leaders in the Kansas City area and venture capitalists from around the nation.
Startups locally, nationally and globally are eligible, and the application window closes on July 2.
Winners also will receive free office space for a year through Think Big, the Sprint Mobile Health Accelerator or Lead Bank as well as access to professional services and help from mentors.
Applicants should fit into one of 10 targeted areas that include advanced manufacturing, animal health, cloud services, mobile technology and data analytics. The others cover technology in agriculture, health, finance, education and real estate.
