Low on diapers, paper towels or laundry detergent?

A new product developed by Amazon aims to eliminate last-minute runs to the store and pesky online ordering.

With one click, “Dash,” a button that can be stored next to your most-used products, can reorder them in an instant.

Customers of the e-commerce site can log in to their Amazon app and select the product they want to reorder with the button.

Once the button is set up and an order is placed, Amazon sends an alert to the buyer’s phone.

Customers can cancel the order as needed, and only the first press is recognized until the order is delivered.

Products associated with the button include mostly household cleaning items, such as Clorox wipes and Cottonelle toilet paper, although some beauty products and food items are also available.

The Dash button is available exclusively for Amazon Prime members by “invitation only,” according to Amazon.com.
