Tarek Robbiati, Sprint’s top money man, will speak publicly on Wednesday during an industry conference in New York.

Sprint’s chief financial officer has engineered $7.9 billion in cash infusions for the Overland Park-based wireless carrier through deals that used leased phones, network equipment and wireless airwaves licenses as backing for lenders.

He also has been a central figure in Sprint’s efforts to cut $2 billion from its ongoing operating expenses as the company moves closer to posting profits.

Wednesday’s event is the 2016 Wells Fargo Technology, Media & Telecom Conference. Robbiati is scheduled to speak at 8:55 a.m. Central time. His live remarks will be available online at Sprint’s investors webpage.
