UMB’s Scout Investments offers a new mutual fund
Scout Investments Inc. has launched the Equity Opportunity Fund, a stock fund that is targeted to the Russell 3000 index.
The fund invests in companies with stable or growing free cash flow and are in the process of balance sheet improvement or growth, according to Scout, which is the investment subsidiary of Kansas City-based UMB Financial Corp.
