Refunds available for some Macaroni Grill gift cards

Customers who purchased gift cards in 2014 from Romano’s Macaroni Grill restaurants in Missouri are eligible for a refund on any remaining balance, the state attorney general’s office said.

The restaurant chain abruptly closed all its Missouri locations at the end of 2014, prompting complaints from people who had purchased gift cards believing they could be redeemed at any location around the state.

About 500 customers are still holding Macaroni Grill gift cards, the attorney general’s office said in a statement.

All claims must be received by 5 p.m. on May 11.
