Juicery, coffee and cocktail lounge coming soon to Kansas City’s River Market
A tropical-inspired cafe and lounge is coming to Kansas City’s River Market neighborhood.
Press’d, a juicery by day and a lounge by night, will open in the old Freestyle Poke restaurant, 509 Delaware St., according to the cafe’s Instagram account.
During the day, the menu will feature cold-pressed juices, smoothies and smoothie bowls, fresh fruit, coffee, tea and food like bagels, toasts and sandwiches. At night, it will serve fresh-juice cocktails and mocktails, according to the post. “Whether you’re grabbing a quick juice, meeting friends for a smoothie bowl, or enjoying cocktails on the patio in the evening — Press’d is designed to be a place to refresh, relax, and stay awhile,” Press’d said in the post. An official opening date has yet to be announced.
The River Market is seeing an influx of new businesses. Three new restaurants announced openings last fall, including a sushi spot and a restaurant specializing in Spanish paella.
The neighborhood will also feature a new boutique hotel — just one block away from Press’d.
