Andrew Miller keeps plenty busy.

The owner of Guy’s Snacks, Miller operates Guy’s Deli , Una Familia Tequila and Arthur Bryant’s Barbecue He’s also opening a restaurant on the forthcoming Rock Island Bridge called River House.

So, what’s one more concept?

Guy’s on Main — an “urban bodega” — will open at 1722 Main St. in the Crossroads.

Miller’s new spot will be completely grab and go, offering sandwiches, pasta, pulled pork, and snacks from his family of brands.

Guys Snacks offers a variety of potato chips, including a barbecue flavor using Joes famous fry seasoning.

In the back of the space, the bodega will have a small bar for coffee, ice cream and libations.

“It’ll be a little bit of everything,” he told The Star.

An aisle will offer some pasta, sauce and other small grocery items. All told, the space will seat about 10 people.

Miller hopes to open the spot before Christmas.

“We just feel like the city needs a true urban bodega,” he said. “I’ve always wanted one personally, so I was like, ‘Let’s do it here.’”

It’ll garner foot traffic, Miller hopes, with streetcar stops to the north and south. Being in the downtown-adjacent area is especially attractive with the 2026 FIFA World Cup approaching.

The vision is to hop off the streetcar, grab a bite, then hop back on.

“It feels like a need in the area … just downtown being a lot of people,” he said. “The city is really looking to populate spaces.”

Guy’s on Main will be open from roughly 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. on weekdays, staying open until midnight on the weekends.

Miller formerly owned Guy’s Broadway Bodega at 2101 Broadway Blvd., though that spot had a full kitchen, where customers could order off the menu.

“It was more of a deli than a bodega,” Miller said of the Broadway concept. “(Guys on Main) will be more of a bodega than a deli.”
