Less than a year after Fuzzy’s Taco Shop closed in Olathe, a new tenant is taking over.

QZ Poke & Ramen — a Kansas City brand with four existing locations — is moving into the space at 13505 S. Mur-Len Road, Suite 100.

The new location’s manager, Long Her, said he expects the spot to open in a month or more.

The Olathe spot will offer all of the menu items available at its other locations: dumplings, pork or chicken ramen bowls, kimchi and customizable poke bowls.

Poke is a classic Hawaiian dish that includes marinated raw fish pieces and other proteins, served with rice, salad or broth.

QZ’s other locations are 8538 NW Prairie View Road in Zona Rosa, 1313 NE Douglas St. in Lee’s Summit, 103 S. Stewart Road in Liberty, 1813 Village West Pkwy Suite Q-103 in the Legends Outlets in Kansas City, Kansas.

Fuzzy’s also recently closed its locations in Topeka and Lawrence, but it still has an Overland Park spot at 8909 W. 95th St.

Another poke spot, Pokeloha, is opening in the former Burnt End BBQ spot at 11831 Metcalf Ave. this summer.
