Mother Earth Coffee is closing in midtown.

Its last day at 3504 Gillham Road will be March 31.

“This decision will allow us to focus on our core wholesale business, ensuring that we continue to practice direct trade, source and small batch roast the highest-quality coffee while expanding our impact where it matters most,” Mother Earth’s management announced on social media Tuesday.

Its coffee products will continue to be available at motherearthcoffeeco.com, Amazon, Costco and a variety of local grocery outlets.

The coffee shop opened in 2017 in the International Apartments building at the corner of Gillham Road and Armour Boulevard. It was the first retail location for Mother Earth Coffee, which was founded in 2005 by Paris Brothers, the KC-based specialty coffee roaster.

“We are incredibly grateful for your support and loyalty over the past 7 years,” management added. “We want to emphasize the importance of supporting local coffee and encourage you to patronize other locally owned cafes in our area.”
