Discount grocery store Aldi is planning a new Kansas City location. Here’s where
The rapidly growing German grocery outlet Aldi announced in April that it planned to open 120 new stores in the U.S. in 2023.
One of them is in Kansas City.
The former Spirit Halloween at 4851 N. Oak Trafficway, near Vivion Road, will open as an Aldi “later this year,” a representative from the company confirmed.
A “Coming Soon” sign with Aldi’s logo is up outside the site and construction workers were at work renovating the building on Monday morning.
Aldi currently has 25 locations in the Kansas City area, including three in the Northland.
