A Lenexa company that helps 500 physicians in 27 states manage their patients’ digestive health has been bought by a New Jersey company that helps physicians lower practice costs and increase reimbursements.
Continuum Health of Marlton, N.J., announced Wednesday it had purchased a controlling interest in Captify Health, which was established by Tom Sanders in 2010. The company initially specialized in increasing patient colonoscopy compliance and has since expanded to a full slate of digestive health management services for physicians with more than 1 million patients nationwide.
Both companies help physicians transition from the fee-for-service reimbursement model to managed care models that focus on quality metrics.
“Our new relationship with Continuum will expand opportunities to grow our market and drive innovation in our services,” Sanders said in a news release.
