KU Hospital expands OB-GYN service in Kansas City, Kan.

The University of Kansas Hospital has opened a new obstetrics and gynecology office in Kansas City, Kan., to expand on services offered at the hospital.

Hospital officials said the new OB-GYN clinic at 21 N. 12th St. is named the Women’s Health Specialty Clinic. It will be led by Kari Farris along with a midwife and other health providers.

KU Hospital already has five other clinics around the Kansas City metro area that offer health services for women, but this is the second women’s clinic in Wyandotte County beyond the main hospital.
