Fifteen nonprofit organizations out of 38 applicants received $734,583 in grant money in recent monthly funding rounds from the Health Care Foundation of Greater Kansas City.

The July and August grants ranged from about $25,000 to the cap of $75,000 each to help pursue health-related programs and services. The foundation will award about $4 million in monthly applicant grants this year. The recent recipients:

The Bridge Home for Children; the town of Moran, Kan.; Compass Health; Health Partnership of Johnson County; Hope House; Jackson County CASA; Jewish Vocational Service; Kansas City Free Eye Clinic; Mattie Rhodes Center; Migrant Farmworkers Assistance Fund; Healing House; Thrive Allen County; Unified School District 258-Humbolt; University of Kansas Center for Research; Uzazi Village.
