Rivergate Business Center in downtown Kansas City sells for $17.6 million
The Rivergate Business Center, a six-story office building that greets traffic coming off the Broadway Bridge into downtown Kansas City, was sold to an affiliate of Price Brothers Development for $17.6 million.
The sale of the Rivergate Business Center closed June 30. Rivergate Ventures, a partnership that involved the late Kansas City construction businessman Vincent DiCarlo, sold the building at 600 Broadway to 6 Broadway LLC, whose registered agent is Price Brothers partner Doug Price.
Price could not be reached for comment Friday.
Mitch DiCarlo, son of Vincent DiCarlo and real estate agent for Block & Co., represented the sellers on the transaction.
DiCarlo said the building is 96 percent leased. Its tenants include the Mid-America Regional Council and Union Pacific.
The building originated in 1904 and expanded into its current form in 2007. The building has 132,000 square feet of office space and 415 parking spaces.
