Sunflower for the second time will submit a Low Income Housing Tax Credit application to the Missouri Housing Development Corp., seeking approval in the fall 2016 funding round.

The school district has a memorandum of understanding with the city of Kansas City to pursue redevelopment as affordable senior housing, partly using Community Development Block Grant and other public funds.

The event is scheduled for the Tri-Blenheim Neighborhood Association meeting at 6:30 p.m. June 27 at Research Medical Center, 2316 E. Meyer Blvd., in meeting rooms near the cafeteria.
