Kansas City apartment complex is designed for tenants 55 and older
A $31 million apartment project is being built at 8800 N.E. 82nd Terrace to cater to older residents who no longer want to own and maintain their houses.
The Liberty at Shoal Creek complex, a project of Rainen Companies, is near shopping, dining and service options in Liberty. It includes 185 one- and two-bedroom apartments.
The complex will offer a social coordinator, planned activities and amenities to appeal to renters who are 55 and older. Units are expected to be available for rent in fall 2016.
Yaeger Architecture is the designer, Straub Construction is the general contractor, US Bank provided construction financing and Keystone Property Management will provide oversight.
