BSA LifeStructures opens Kansas City area office

BSA LifeStructures, a national design firm that has done extensive work for the St. Luke’s Health System, has opened a three-person office in Leawood.

The new office is the sixth nationwide for the architecture and engineering firm which also has operations in Atlanta, Austin, Texas, Chicago, Indianapolis and St. Louis. It is located at least temporarily at the Park Place development at 117th Street and Nall Avenue.

Matt Jennings, the regional director, said that he, Jacqueline Foy, director of architecture, and Erin Fogarty, director of interior design, worked for local firms before helping BSA launch its Kansas City area office. A fourth employee is expected to be added next month.

The firm completed a master plan for St. Luke’s last year and also is helping the healthcare system remodel a building at Interstate 35 and Holmes Road for its new corporate headquarters.

St. Luke’s Health System will eventually move 600 employees from several locations into 120,000 square feet at 901 E. 104th St. in Kansas City. Teva Neurosciences recently moved from the building to a new headquarters at College Boulevard and Nall Avenue in Overland Park.
