Kansas City development board gets new members
Scott Taylor, a second-term Kansas City Council member who chairs the council’s Planning, Zoning and Economic Development Committee, will also serve on the board of the Economic Development Corporation of Kansas City, as required by the EDC bylaws.
Joining Taylor as a new EDC board member is former city councilman Ed Ford, an attorney with Ford & Cooper PC who served on the City Council from 2007 to 2015 and from 1995 to 2003.
Also new to the board is Madeline Romious, regional vice president of external affairs for AT&T in Kansas City.
The appointments were announced Friday by Mayor Sly James.
