The Troost Avenue Community Improvement District will unveil a new brand design at a party Friday in south Kansas City.

The event will be at 10:30 a.m. at the Cleaver YMCA, 7000 Troost.

The street’s improvement district was created in 2013 to include the neighborhood along Troost from 46th Street south to 75th Street and along 63rd Street between Pener Plaza and Rockhill Road.

In addition to working on trash, weed and graffiti cleanup, services include a daytime roving patrol car. The district also is working on business directories, decals and marketing.
