A partnership that includes RED Development on Thursday announced the acquisition of four shopping centers in two states.
RED, which has offices in Overland Park, partnered with BIG Shopping Centers USA to form BIG RED. In its first move, the partnership acquired two properties in Omaha and two in Phoenix.
The four shopping centers have a total of 1.5 million square feet. The purchase price for the properties was not disclosed.
RED, headquartered in Phoenix, also said it will manage four BIG shopping centers — two in California, one in Texas and one in Oregon. BIG is based in Beverly Hills, Calif.
