Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers opens in Belton
Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers, which is known for its lean ground beef steakburgers and frozen custard desserts, is now open in Belton.
The new location, at 1822 E. North Ave., had a ribbon cutting at 10:30 this morning. Co-founder and World War II veteran Freddy Simon, 91, plans to be on site through the lunch hour to greet customers and sign autographs.
The 3,476-square-foot restaurant seats 100 people with additional seating on the patio, and it has a drive-thru. The menu also includes Vienna Beef hot dogs and shoestring fries.
Hours will be 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
Freddy’s was founded in 2002 and now has 210 restaurants in 30 states.
