Tom’s Town Distilling expands distribution in Kansas, Missouri

Less than seven months after opening in the Crossroads Arts District, Tom’s Town Distilling Co. is now expanding its distribution.

Tom’s Town currently has three premium spirits: Pendergast’s Royal Gold Bourbon, McElroy’s Corruption Gin and Eli’s StrongArm Vodka.

This month, Tom’s Town signed an agreement with Handcrafted Wine & Spirits for Kansas distribution and its products are now already sold in about 50 liquor stores and about 20 restaurants in Johnson County, Lawrence and Wichita. It plans to expand to Manhattan and western Kansas by fall.

It also signed an agreement with Major Brands, which will begin distributing Tom’s Town in Missouri on Aug. 18, starting with Kansas City and St. Louis and then expanding throughout the state by late October.

Eli’s StrongArm Vodka won a gold medal at the 2016 American Craft Spirits Association awards, a gold medal at San Francisco World Spirits Competition and a silver medal from the American Distilling Institute earlier this year. This week, The Fifty Best, described as an online guide to fine living, also awarded Tom’s Town a gold medal for Eli’s.

McElroy’s Corruption Gin won a silver medal at the American Craft Spirits Association awards and a bronze medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
