Drunken Fish shuts down in Leawood
Less than three years after opening in Leawood, Drunken Fish Sushi Restaurant & Lounge has closed.
St. Louis-based Drunken Fish took over the former Fo Thai spot at 4331 W. 119th St. and remodeled it for a mid-July 2013 opening.
The owner did not return phone calls. A manager at the Drunken Fish in the Power & Light District confirmed the closing of the Leawood restaurant.
Officials with Town Center Crossing would not confirm the closing. However, in a statement, mall manager Leonard Corsi said: “Town Center Crossing strives to provide an excellent shopping experience at all times. We will continue to bring popular retail, entertainment and dining options to our center for the whole family to enjoy."
