Houlihan’s debuts new cocktail menu in Overland Park, Dallas
Leawood-based Houlihan’s is rolling out a new cocktail menu in just two of its restaurants: Overland Park and Dallas.
It includes 10 new cocktails, “flavor-changing” ice cubes, “barrel-less barrel aged” whiskey, and handcrafted tea mixers.
The Overland Park location, at 11851 W. 95th St., will introduce two of the new cocktails each day up to the debut on Tuesday.
On Thursday it showcased its new Seasonal Whiskey Smash ($10) with raspberries, mint, house-made sour mix, and Gosling’s Ginger Beer, and The Bitter End ($9) with grapefruit vodka, house-made sour mix and orange juice topped with club soda.
Coming up:
▪ May 20: Raspberry Peach Sangria ($9.50), and the Houdini ($9.50) with bourbon and real maple syrup.
▪ May 21: Blue Taboo ($9) with pineapple rum, blue curacao, club soda, and Owl’s Brew Coco-Lada (black tea handcrafted in small batches with coconut water, chai spices and pineapple juice), and the Oak Aged Manhattan ($10) with scotch, sweet vermouth, and Angostura orange bitters.
▪ May 22: Cucumber Mint Refresher ($9.50) with gin, fresh squeezed lemon juice, mint simple syrup, and La Marca Prosecco, and the Bleeding Rose ($10) with St-Germain Elderflower liqueur and Absolut Hibiskus.
