Get your Royal blue mustache with Shatto’s caramel corn milk
Shatto Milk Co. is rolling out a limited edition, royal blue-tinted milk for Kansas City Royals’ opening day.
Its caramel corn flavor is comparable to Cracker Jack. It will be in a collector’s bottle with the word “Splash” on the front and a strategically placed baseball as the “O” in Shatto. The company picked “splash” in honor of catcher Salvador Perez and his post-game habit of pouring water/sports drinks on players as they are interviewed.
Shatto hopes Perez will switch to using Shatto Milk in one of those buckets this season.
The Royal blue milk will hit store shelves on Thursday. Once Shatto runs out of the limited edition bottles, the milk will be sold in its normal pint bottles.
Shatto Milk Co. is a locally owned family dairy farm based in Osborn, Mo. Its products include milk, cheese, butter, ice cream, and ice cream sandwiches.
