Kansas, Kansas City restaurant health inspections for March 28

Here are area restaurants and grocery stores with 7 or more priority or critical health code violations, with highlighted links to the original public record reports by city or county health inspectors.

Restaurants correct most violations at the time of the original inspection or shortly thereafter. Links to the follow-up inspections show how each establishment has corrected or is working to correct any remaining violations.

The Kansas Department of Agriculture cited these operations for 7 or more priority health code violations:

▪ Sabor Y Sol, 542 Southwest Blvd., Kansas City, Kan., had 11 priority violations during a Feb. 25 inspection following a complaint.

▪ Beaver Tap, 9720 Quivira Road, Lenexa, had 10 priority violations during a Feb. 26 inspection following a complaint. It had 1 priority violation during a March 8 follow-up inspection.

▪ Minsky’s Pizza Cafe & Bar, 7198 Renner Road, Shawnee, had 10 priority violations during a Jan. 22 inspection following a complaint. It had 1 priority violation during a Feb. 2 follow-up inspection.

▪ Louie’s Wine Dive, 6701 W. 119th St., Overland Park, had 9 priority violations during a March 3 follow-up inspection.

▪ KFC, 7517 State Ave., Kansas City, Kan., had 8 priority violations during a Feb. 29 inspection following a complaint.

▪ Yard House, Legends Outlets Kansas City, 1863 Village West Parkway, Kansas City, Kan., had 7 priority violations during a March 17 routine inspection.

▪ Pinstripes, Prairiefire, 13500 Nall Ave., Overland Park, had 7 priority violations during a Feb. 24 inspection following a complaint. It had 8 priority violations during a March 4 follow-up inspection.

▪ Wendy’s, 11701 College Blvd., Overland Park, had 7 priority violations during a March 2 inspection following a complaint.

▪ Williams-Sonoma, Town Center Plaza, 5204 W. 119th St., Leawood, had 9 priority violations during a March 3 routine inspection. It had no critical violations during a March 21 follow-up inspection.

The Kansas City Health Department cited these operations for 7 or more critical health code violations:

▪ iPho Tower, 1447 Independence Ave., had 15 critical violations during a Feb. 25 routine inspection. It had no critical violations during a March 4 follow-up inspection.

▪ Chelly’s Cafe, 214 W. 85th St., had 10 critical violations during a Feb. 23 routine inspection. It had 6 critical violations during a March 4 follow-up inspection , 3 critical violations during a March 14 follow-up inspection, and 2 critical violations during a March 23 follow-up inspection.

▪ Conoco, 4656 Prospect Ave., had 9 critical violations during a Feb. 23 routine inspection. It had 6 critical violations during a Feb. 26 follow-up inspection and no critical violations during a March 2 follow-up inspection.

▪ LC’s Bar-B-Q, 5800 Blue Parkway, had 9 critical violations during a Feb. 24 routine inspection. It had no critical violations during a March 1 follow-up inspection.

▪ PowerPlay Metro North, 509 N.W. Barry Road, had 9 critical violations during a Feb. 23 routine inspection. It had 5 critical violations during a Feb. 29 follow-up inspection and 2 critical violations during a March 3 follow-up inspection.
