Inside Sporting KC’s new No Other Pub, with bowling, shuffleboard and more
Sporting Kansas City describes its new Power & Light District venue, which opened in late February, as a “playground for millennials.”
The 21,000-square-foot No Other Pub features several distinct areas:
▪ A gaming parlor with four bowling lanes, golf simulators, table tennis, shuffleboard, foosball and darts.
▪ An expansive sports bar with a 10-by-15-foot video wall and several large-screen TVs. Some booths in the bar feature table taps so customers can refresh their beers. It also has free Wi-Fi and power outlets along the bar so customers can recharge their smartphones.
▪ A social lounge with a selection of local craft beers and spirits, with a daily happy hour featuring the local products.
▪ A fast casual taco stand featuring such choices as grilled chicken or cauliflower tacos, nachos and quesadillas.
It also serves a variety of menu items including pulled pork sandwiches, barbecue chicken flatbread, antipasto salad, Thai chili chicken wings, and smashed avocado dip and tortilla chips.
No Other Pub is designed to expose more people to the Sporting Kansas City brand, but it also will highlight other sports.
