Ingredient True Eatery closes in Leawood’s Park Place

Ingredient True Eatery has closed in Park Place.

Bread & Butter Concepts became a minority partner in Ingredient a year ago and had a management contract with plans to become the majority owner at a later date. It rebranded the location as Ingredient True Eatery.

Alan Gaylin, founder of Bread & Butter, said the majority owner of Ingredient decided to close the Leawood location at 11563 Ash St.

Park Place officials declined to comment.

Ingredient was founded in Lawrence in 2007. The company closed its downtown location in April 2015 after more than five years of operation. Bread & Butter concepts opened República in the former Ingredient space on the Country Club Plaza in mid-2015.
