Restaurant openings: Spin Neapolitan Pizza, Minsky’s Pizza and Shio Noodle
Three new restaurants for Kansas City:
▪ Spin Neapolitan Pizza plans to open at 11 a.m. Dec. 29 in The Village at Burlington Creek. The location, at 6100 N.W. 63rd Terrace, is just west of Interstate 29.
The first 64 customers in line for the opening will get a free Mini Mia pizza and salad. There also will be daily “Pizza for a Year” winners — a free pizza every month — for the first seven days of operations.
Spin took over a 3,862-square-foot space that formerly housed All Star Pizza & Pub, which opened in mid-2009.
Hours will be 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday.
▪ Minsky’s Pizza Cafe & Bar plans to open at 11 a.m. Dec. 29 at 3063 Southwest Blvd. Poco’s formerly occupied the spot.
The new location also will deliver in the area — south to 40th street, east to Holmes, west to 18th Street Expressway and North to Interstate 670.
Hours will be 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
▪ Patrick Curtis plans to open a ramen noodle shop, Shio Noodle, at 3605 Broadway in mid-January.
