Kansas restaurant inspections for Oct. 30

Here are area restaurants with 7 or more priority health code violations.

Restaurants correct most violations at the time of the original inspection or shortly thereafter.

The Kansas Department of Agriculture has been transitioning to new inspection software since early August and direct links to Kansas inspections are not available at this time.

The department cited these operations for 7 or more priority health code violations.

▪ Perkins Restaurant & Bakery, 11200 W. 87th St., Lenexa, had 15 priority violations during a Sept. 10 inspection following a complaint. It had 2 priority violations during a Sept. 22 follow-up inspection.

▪ Dagwood’s Cafe, 1117 Southwest Blvd., Kansas City, Kan., had 14 priority violations during an Oct. 14 routine inspection.

▪ Pine & Bamboo Garden, 10915 W. 63rd St., Shawnee, had 12 priority violations during a Sept. 29 routine inspection. It had no priority violations during an Oct. 12 inspection following a complaint.

▪ Ricky’s Pit BBQ, 3800 Leavenworth Road, Kansas City, Kan., had 11 priority violations during an Oct. 7 routine inspection. It had 4 priority violations during an Oct. 20 follow-up inspection.

▪ Callahan’s Pizzeria Pub Grill, 12843 W. 87th St., Lenexa, had 9 priority violations during a Sept. 10 routine inspection. It had 2 priority violations during a Sept. 21 follow-up inspection.

▪ Leslie’s Taqueria, 1251 Kansas Ave., Kansas City, Kan., had 9 priority violations during a Sept. 28 routine inspection. It had 2 priority violations during an Oct. 15 follow-up inspection.

▪ Panzon’s Mexican Restaurant, 8710 Lackman Road, Lenexa, had 9 priority violations during a Sept. 10 follow-up inspection.

▪ Steak ’n Shake, 7510 W. 63rd St., Overland Park, had 9 priority violations during a Sept. 9 inspection following a complaint. It had 3 priority violations during a Sept. 21 follow-up inspection.

▪ Bilski’s Bar & Grill, 5831 Merriam Drive, Merriam, had 8 priority violations during an Oct. 8 follow-up inspection.

▪ Casey’s General Store, 13000 State Ave., Kansas City, Kan., had 8 priority violations during a Sept. 23 routine inspection. It had 1 priority violation during an Oct. 6 follow-up inspection.

▪ K-macho’s, 1229 E. Santa Fe St., Olathe, had 8 priority violations during a Sept. 17 follow-up inspection.

▪ New York Dawg Pound, 7702 Shawnee Mission Parkway, Overland Park, had 8 priority violations during a Sept. 15 inspection following a complaint. It had 1 priority violation during a Sept. 18 follow-up inspection, 1 priority violation during a Sept. 22 follow-up inspection, 1 priority violation during a Sept. 25 follow-up inspection and no priority violations during an Oct. 8 follow-up inspection.

▪ Talk of the Town Grill & Bar, 11922 W. 119th St., Overland Park, had 8 priority violations during a Sept. 28 follow-up inspection.

▪ Cider Hill Family Orchard, 13026 Clover Drive, Kansas City, Kan., had 7 priority violations during an Oct. 4 routine inspection. It had no priority violations during an Oct. 11 follow-up inspection.

▪ Dragon Inn, 7500 W. 80th St., Overland Park, had 7 priority violations during a Sept. 28 follow-up inspection.

▪ El Camino Real, 1147 W. Argentine Blvd., Kansas City, Kan., had 7 priority violations during a Sept. 3 routine inspection.

▪ Johnny Carino’s, 1706 Village West Parkway, Kansas City, Kan., had 7 priority violations during a Sept. 3 routine inspection.

▪ Perky’s Cafe, 129 Oak St., Bonner Springs, had 7 priority violations during a Sept. 9 routine inspection. It had no priority violations during a Sept. 22 follow-up inspection.

▪ Siam Oriental Market, 6347 Quivira Road, Shawnee, had 7 priority violations during a Sept. 2 routine inspection. It had no priority violations during a Sept. 28 follow-up inspection.

▪ Wendy’s, 7740 Tauromee Ave., Kansas City, Kan., had 7 priority violations during a Sept. 10 routine inspection. It had 5 priority violations during a Sept. 22 follow-up inspection.
