Kansas City’s Boulevard Brewing Co. is continuing to grow its territory by adding distribution in six new states in early 2016: Arizona, Connecticut, Delaware, Kentucky, Michigan and Rhode Island.
The company also will expand its distribution in New York, including the Albany area and upstate New York.
Agreements have been signed with Arizona beer distributor Hensley Beverage Co. and Kentucky wholesaler Beer House Distributing. These distributors will start rolling out the full roster of Boulevard beers in January.
In a statement, Bobby Dykstra, vice president of sales for Duvel Moortgat USA, said: “With the addition of six new 1,000-barrel fermentation tanks, plans to expand our distribution territory can become a reality. There has been a strong and persistent demand for Boulevard beers in Arizona for quite some time, and Kentucky is seeing an explosion of craft beer excitement. We’re thrilled to bring the taste of the Midwest to these states.”

Select Boulevard beers also will be on tap and on store shelves in Connecticut, Delaware, Michigan and Rhode Island, as well as the other areas in New York, in early 2016. Distributor agreements are still in the works for those markets.
Since it was founded in 1989, Boulevard Brewing Co. has grown to become one of the largest specialty brewers in the Midwest. In 2014, Boulevard became part of the Duvel Moortgat family of breweries.
