Update: Where to dine out on Thanksgiving Day
More than 30 million Americans will let restaurants serve up all — or at least a part — of their Thanksgiving Day dinner this year.
The National Restaurant Association estimates more than 15 million Americans will dine at a restaurant, while an additional 14 million people will pick up some take-out dishes to serve at a home-based gathering, and 4 million plan to order a full takeout Thanksgiving meal from a restaurant.
Some people want to spend less time cooking and more time with their families during the holiday, while others just don’t want the stress of shopping, cooking and cleanup.
Here’s a sampling of area restaurants open on Thanksgiving.
