Health Department temporarily closes Church’s Chicken in Waldo

The Kansas City Health Department temporarily closed Church’s Chicken in Waldo for health code violations.

The restaurant, at 8404 Wornall Road, had three critical violations during an Aug. 13 inspection following a complaint about roaches. The inspector found significant infestation.

Church’s Chicken must pass a follow-up inspection before the restaurant can reopen.

Officials with Church’s Chicken couldn’t be reached for comment.
