Dave & Buster’s will open in Overland Park's Corbin Park next year

Corbin Park’s owner said he will soon add Dave & Buster’s to his lineup.

Mike Schlup said Dave & Buster’s will open in a new 40,000-square-foot, two-story building in spring 2016. It will be next to YaYa’s Euro Bistro at 135th Street and Metcalf Avenue in Overland Park.

Officials with Dave & Buster’s did not return phone calls.

The Dallas, Texas-based Dave & Buster's was founded in 1982 and currently has 76 locations in 30 states and Canada, including one in the Legends Outlets Kansas City in Kansas City, Kan.

Dave & Buster's offers a full menu of appetizers, salads, sandwiches and entrees like grilled chicken and artichoke penne and peppercorn New York strip steak, as well as a full bar and an extensive assortment of entertainment attractions centered around playing games and watching live sports and other televised events.
