Futbol Club Eatery & Tap closed in Overland Park?
Overland Park’s soccer-themed restaurant and bar, Fütbol Club Eatery & Tap, has posted a sign on the door saying “Futbol Club is closed.”
The owners couldn’t be reached for comment.
Futbol opened in the 6,000-square-foot spot in Pinnacle Village, 12030 Blue Valley Parkway, Overland Park, in mid-2013. It had soccer memorabilia as part of the décor, showed major soccer games and catered to local children's soccer teams. Earlier this year, it added fresh pizza by Pizza 51 to its menu, which included such items as pot roast, fish and chips, specialty sandwiches and burgers.
The space formerly housed W.J. McBride's Irish Pub and then Nick's Pizzeria and Ice Cream.
Price Commercial Realty, broker for Pinnacle Village, said the owner of the shopping center declined to comment on Futbol.
Pinnacle Village is a 126,909-square-foot community retail center anchored by Michaels and DSW.
