Omaha-based Scooter’s Coffee just opened a new location in Johnson County. It plans several more in the Kansas City area by early 2024.

New locations

204 S. Broadway, Oak Grove. April or May opening.

307 Chestnut St., Belton. Summer or fall opening.

16300 E. U.S. 24 highway, Independence. Summer or fall.

9107 Tom Watson Parkway, Parkville. Fall opening.

8710 E. 63rd St. Fall.

181 Missouri Route C, Peculiar. Fall.

North Flintlock Road & Northeast 82nd Terrace. Early 2024.

513 Johnny Walker Lane, Richmond, Mo. Early 2024.

Scooter’s Coffee is in 28 states and will open its 600th location this coming week.

Its most recent new opening in the metro was a kiosk at 15885 Metcalf Ave., Overland Park, which had a grand opening in March. Most Scooter’s Coffee locations are drive-thru only kiosks.

Menu items include its signature lattes (sea salt caramelicious, butterscotch caramel, white mocha and more), strawberry acai quenchers, teas, cold brew, lemonade, smoothies, energy drinks and pastries including maple waffle sandwiches, spicy sausage burritos, cinnamon rolls, muffins, bagel and ciabatta sandwiches and chocolate chip cookies.
